Changing for the better.

We want to change things for the better. The EOS Group has defined its sustainability goals in its Corporate Responsibility (CR) strategy. It lends structure to our commitment and encourages us to act even more responsibly.
A green world flourishes with plants as two individuals promote sustainability - one painting a heart, the other standing on a small ladder, symbolizing care and progress.

Sustainability Strategy and Goals

Receivables management means taking responsibility

Sustainability is a cornerstone of our corporate responsibility strategy, extending beyond mere environmental compliance. As a global financial services provider, we are deeply committed to social responsibility and corporate governance.

Our main concerns are divided into four intervention domains within our CR strategy: Responsible collection, Joint progress, Financial sustainability, and Environmental protection.

These areas reflect our commitment to making a meaningful contribution to the well-being of the communities where we operate, promoting balanced and sustainable development.

Materiality as starting point for our sustainability strategy

EOS has proceeded with the development of its Corporate Responsibility strategy, leveraging the collaboration of both internal and external experts. In 2022, the company developed a materiality matrix. This matrix identifies the most critical sustainability issues for EOS's external stakeholders as well as for the company itself. It serves as a foundation to guide the organization's future sustainability strategy.

Global responsibility: The UN Global Compact

Overview of eight UN Global Compact icons showing #3 good health and well-being, #4 quality education, #5 gender equality, #10 reduced inequalities, #16 peace, justice and strong institutions, #17 partnerships for the goals, #13 climate actions.
In 2021, the EOS Group joined the United Nations Global Compact, the largest global initiative for corporate responsibility. Through this commitment, we pledged to uphold the Compact's 10 principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. Each new member is required to first establish their own goals based on these principles. Last year, we identified our objectives based on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), selecting those where we can make the most effective contributions. These SDGs, along with their key metrics and associated objectives, serve as important references in our corporate responsibility strategy.

As mandated by the Global Compact, we will annually report our progress through a "Communication on Progress" (COP) report.
